Police are trying to find the person who assaulted and robbed a man walking home from downtown St. Cloud last Friday. It happened sometime between 2 and 2:30 am Friday morning in the alleyway near 5th Street South and 6th Avenue South. Police say a 21-year-old man was walking in the alleyway when an unknown person hit him in the head with a blunt object, causing him to fall the ground. When the victim got home, police say he discovered his cell phone and cash had been stolen. The victim was treated with minor injuries.
