The Central Minnesota Reduction of Accidents for Safe Highways Task Force conducted a DWI saturation over the weekend. Local law enforcement agencies focused on Highway 23 and County Road 75 from St. Cloud to Interstate 94 in St. Joseph.

A total of 117 vehicles were stopped during the saturation. Police arrested five people for DWI violations. The goal of the campaign is to reduce serious injury and fatal crashes through DWI enforcement and education which is part of Minnesota’s Toward Zero Deaths initiative.
