Wednesday was the rainiest September 15th in St. Cloud history, according to SCSU Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman. St. Cloud received 1.58 inches of rain Wednesday, the third rainfall of over an inch and a half this month. The monthly total thus far is nearly five and a half inches, almost twice the normal for the month of September. That makes this month the 13th rainiest September in St. Cloud history with half the month to go. Weisman expects the rain to quiet down through the weekend as a cool air mass pushes in.
