Archived: River Bats Look To Get Back in Win Column

After starting the 2010 season out with a bang by sweeping the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers at home to improve their record to 3-1, the St. Cloud River Bats suffered a setback Monday, falling at Thunder Bay 2-0. After striking for 15 runs on the weekend at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud, the Bats were cooled north of the border in the shutout loss. St. Cloud only registered five hits in the game.

The Bats will look to get back on track as they take on the Border Cats again on Tuesday before heading to Duluth for a home-and-home matchup. The Bats take on the Huskies at Joe Faber Field on Thursday, starting a four game homestand. First pitch is slated for 7:05.
