The St. Cloud River Bats have announced the hiring of Jon Hansen as their Field Manager for the 2011 season. 

An assistant at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas this last spring, Hansen has Northwoods League experience as a pitcher. He pitched for the Brainerd Blue Thunder (now the Brainerd Lunkers) in 2005.

The River Bats will begin their 15th Anniversary season on Wednesday against the Duluth Huskies at Wade Stadium in Duluth.
