Starting on Thursday, May 31st motorists should expect lane closures on Highway 23 at Bel Claire Drive west of Waite Park and lasting through the end of June.

Motorists will encounter reduced speeds, lane closures and flaggers directing traffic as crews extend turn and acceleration lanes and install overhead intersection lighting.

MnDot believes the project will improve safety at the Highway 23 and Bel Claire Drive intersection when it is completed.
