The KVSC newsroom has a couple of construction updates for central Minnesota drivers. First, the County Road 157 resurfacing project begins this week. Crews will spend the next three weeks fixing up the six mile stretch of road between Freeport and Albany. The road, which runs parallel with I-94, will remain open but drivers should expect lane closures and delays.

For St. Cloud drivers, a half mile stretch of 5th Avenue North will be closed from now through Wednesday. 5th Avenue North between 4th and 12th Street North is closed as crews take care of some utility construction work near the water treatment facility.
