Saint Cloud State senior forward Holly Roberts has been named the WCHA offensive player of the week for her efforts this past weekend against the University of Minnesota Gophers.

The Saint Cloud native tied the school record for points in a game with six in Saturday’s 6-3 win that completed the sweep of the second ranked Gophers. Roberts had her third career hat trick and added three assists in the big win. This past weekend also marked the first time in school history that the Huskies have taken four points in a series from the Gophers.

Roberts now has 42 points in 32 games played in the season and ranks second all time in women’s hockey history at SCSU in scoring with 119 points. She and the Huskies will take on Ohio State this weekend in Columbus in the last series of the regular season.
