Officials say a wood stove could be the cause of a house fire that destroyed a Sauk Centre home Friday night. The fire started just before 10:00 at a home on Sauk Lake Road, on the north side of Sauk Centre. The Stearns County Sheriff’s office says the fire started in a detached garage and had spread to the house before responders arrived. Officials say there were people inside the home when the fire started. They were all able to get out of the house without getting hurt. Both the garage and the house were destroyed.
