Archived: SCSU Announces the Retirement of an Administrator

St. Cloud State University is announcing the retirement of one of the top administrators. President Earl H. Potter announced the retirement of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs Steve Ludwig Friday.Ludwig plans to retire at the end of the fiscal year.

Ludwig has spent 25 years at SCSU and has held multiple titles. He spent 14 years as Assistant to the Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Facilities Planning, four years as interim Vice President for Administrative Affairs and in 2005 was named permanent Vice President. During his time on campus, Ludwig has overseen the building and renovation projects that include the National Hockey Center, Miller Center, Stewart Hall, Brown Hall and Riverview.

Since 2005, Ludwig has also been responsible for overseeing Business Services, Human Resources, Public Safety, Financial Aid, Printing Services, the Center for Information Systems, Food Services and the Husky Bookstore.
