Archived: SCSU Community Garden To Host Seed And Plant Exchange
The SCSU Community Garden and the Central Minnesota Community Garden Network is sponsoring its first seed and plant exchange on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
Participants will receive plants, seeds and seedlings such as tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, greens and flowers in exchange for their surplus plants or seeds, food or cash donations to the local food shelf.
The exchange will take place in the Community Garden parking lot between 5th Avenue and 6th Street South next to the SCSU women’s Center.
The event is open to the public and will run from 2 to 7 p.m. both days.
