More than 25 student organizations at St. Cloud State are joining forces to raise awareness for children who walk barefoot on a daily basis. The nationwide event, “One Day Without Shoes,” will be held Thursday. A rally will be held at 12:15 on the Atwood Mall, where the SCSU Concert Choir will give a performance. SCSU campus members are encouraged to go barefoot for the day to raise awareness. During the event, donations of new or nicely used shoes will be collected for people in need in the St. Cloud community. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
