Archived: SCSU Lights up Buildings for Autism Awareness
April is Autism Awareness Month, and to show support St. Cloud State University will be lighting up two of the buildings on campus.
Miller Center and Brown Hall will be lit with blue lights from midnight on Sunday, April 1st through midnight Monday, April 2nd.
Autism Speaks encourages people to wear blue on Monday to support the “Light It Up Blue” campaign and to encourage Autism awareness.
There will also be a double screening of the Mixed Blood Theater performance of “On the Spectrum” written by Ken LaZebnik. Screenings take place on Monday, April 2nd, at noon and 4pm in the Atwood Memorial Center Theater. A panel discussion will follow.
