St. Cloud State University is investigating a series of burglaries of offices in multiple campus buildings. Just before the holiday break in December, there was a report of someone removing the stops, or trim molding, from windows of office doors in Centennial Hall. Police say, of the offices that were broken into, only textbooks were taken from one of the offices. The pattern was recognized and tamper resistant screws have since been installed to help prevent future break-ins on offices with similar windows.

 On December 30^th it was again reported that another office in Centennial Hall was entered in the same way with only minimal losses . Another attempt to break into offices in Headley Hall failed.
