Archived: Second Palmer Brother to Be Sentenced

The second of two brothers convicted of murdering a St. Cloud man last spring will be sentenced Thursday in Stearns County court. In February, 32-year-old Keonne Palmer was found guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, second-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a gun. In April of last year, Palmer and his brother Da’Leino went to the home of Ernest Moss to collect drug money. When Moss refused to pay, Keonne Palmer shot Moss five times, killing him. His conviction of first-degree premeditated murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the chance of parole. On April 20, Keonne’s brother Da’Leino was sentenced to 26 years in prison for aiding in the murder.
