Archived: Semi Crashes Into State Vehicle on I-94
Interstate 94 south of St. Cloud was shut down for four and a half hours Monday after a crash between a semi truck and a state road construction vehicle. It happened just after 3:00 pm in the west bound lanes of I-94, just east of the Highway 15 exit. The State Patrol says a semi crashed into a parked MnDOT vehicle where crews were performing road maintenance. The road didn’t open again until 7:30 pm.
The driver of the semi was Scott Crow of Pelican Rapids. The State Patrol says when he was pulled from his truck he was soaked in fuel. Crow was airlifted from the scene and the State Patrol says he will be okay. Eric Hoagland was the driver inside the MnDot vehicle. The State Patrol says he walked away from the scene uninjured.
