The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office sent out a Citywatch reverse 911 message to local residents in response to recent daytime burglaries. Residents of St. Wendel Township, Avon Township, the city of Avon and Rockville received the message at 11 a.m. today Thursday.

Items such as jewelry, electronics including TV’s and wrapped Christmas presents have all been taken from area homes in the past two weeks. The Sheriff’s Office uses the reverse 911 program on occasion to provide information to the citizens of Stearns County.
