Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted abduction Monday afternoon that happened 2 miles north of St. Joseph in St. Wendel township. According to the sheriff’s report a 10-year-old girl was outside sweeping the driveway when a man walked up and grabbed her wrist and told her to get into his car. She was able to pull away and run back inside her house.

The man was described as a white, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and in his 30s. He was wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt with a superman symbol on the front and black pants with white shoes and black laces. The car he was driving was blue, and it was possibly an older style Chevy Lumina or Caprice.
