A one car crash resulted in an arrest of an 18-year-old woman for an outstanding warrant. It happened just before 7:00 pm Wednesday near the intersection of 14th Avenue Southeast and 2nd Street Southeast in St. Cloud. Police say 21-year-old Jessica Marie Billings, from Blaine, was speeding while traveling south on 14th Avenue. Police say she drove off the road and hit a utility pole, breaking it in half, causing power lines to go down.

Police say the passenger, 18-year-old Angela Marie Thompson of St. Cloud, had an open container of alcohol. She was issued a minor, and arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in Benton County. Billings, the driver, was cited for driving recklessly without insurance, an instructional permit violation, and allowing an open container.
Both were taken to the hospital with possible injuries.
