Archived: Sixth Annual Science Rocks! Event Planned
The sixth annual Science Rocks! event is expecting to bring over 600 area kids to the campus of St. Cloud State University. The event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. this Thursday at the Wick Science Building.
Over 600 local 5th and 6th graders from 31 schools will be attending the conference and learning about a variety of science and nature elements through presentations and hands on learning. Students will learn about plant germination, biomimicry, the physics of light and endangered species all being taught by professionals with expertise in their fields.
The event is co-sponsored by SCSU along with Resource Training & Solutions which is a regional service agency serving school districts in Central Minnesota.
