A skateboarder was hit by a car Tuesday after skateboarding in the middle of the road. It happened just after 5:30 p.m. on the 1800 block of 17th street south.
Police first got a call about several people skateboarding in the middle of the road. When they got to the area, officers found one of the boarders had been hit by a car. Police say the victim was 18-year-old Trevor Scott Sidewell. The car was driven by a 16-year-old Saint Cloud student.

Sidewell was not badly injured and said he didn’t want to go to the hospital. No citations were issued during the incident.
