The St. Cloud State Campus Community Can Learn snow kiting this weekend at Mille Lacs. Snow kiting weekends include introductory sessions where participants are taught the basics of kiting, equipment, gear and safety techniques, but will be expected to bring their own skis or snowboard. Admission is $95 per person and will include camping meals, permits, gear and instruction. The weekend’s activities will be based at SCSU’s CELL field station located on the south west side of the lake. There will be two introductory sessions, the first being held from January 29-31 and the second being held from February 26-28.
