South Junior High in School District 742 in St. Cloud was put in lockdown this morning.

Assistant Principal Joel Heitkamp delivered a recorded voice message to parents around 9:40 a.m. In his message he says the St. Cloud Police Department was dealing with an incident in proximity to the school at about 9 a.m.

After consulting with authorities they decided to put the school in lockdown, but classes were still happening as scheduled within the school.
