The City Engineers office in St. Cloud is busy with ongoing and new road repair and construction projects–here’s a few you should know about.

1st Street South at 8th Avenue South is now closed for utility work in the area. Also, the northbound lane of 8th Avenue South between Highway 23 and 1st Street South is closed. They expect this work to be completed by August 7.

Starting Thursday, the southbound lane of 10th Avenue North between 1st Street North to the St. Germain Area will be reduced to one lane, also for utility work. Expect this work to continue until August 9.

Finally, work on Northway Drive from Highway 15 to 9th Avenue North is taking longer than projected. The city says the utility maintenance work will wrap up on August 2, but the road remains open, drivers should expect delays.
