SARTELL, Minn. — St. Cloud Financial Credit Union has announced Dan Brinkman as its new vice president of mortgage lending.

Brinkman brings nearly 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including more than 15 years as a senior manager of lending operations.

In this new role, Brinkman will provide leadership and strategic direction to the credit union’s mortgage team while continuing to serve members and the surrounding community.

“I believe there is something very special happening here and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the SCFCU team,” Brinkman said.

A St. Cloud native, Brinkman graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College.

SCFCU Chief Experience Officer Meggan Schwirtz said Brinkman’s experience and ability to build strong relationships will be valuable to the organization.

“His focus on building strong relationships and working collaboratively aligns extremely well with who we are at SCFCU,” Schwirtz said.

Outside of work, Brinkman enjoys volunteering at his four daughters’ sporting events, swimming, painting, and spending time on the lake.
