The St. Cloud Fireworks Committee has selected this year’s fireworks commissioner.

Committee president Tom Richardson says Stearns Bank has been named 2019 Honorary Fireworks Commissioner. The honoree gets to ride in the Granite City Days parade on Saturday, June 29th and press the button that begins the fireworks show in St. Cloud.

Stearns Bank President Steve Domine says Stearns Bank is deeply committed to supporting and bettering communities and it’s amazing to see all the organizations and individuals who have worked tirelessly over the years to help put these great fireworks displays together through their donations and volunteer work.

This is the 73rd consecutive year the city will celebrate the holiday with fireworks. The show will begin with the St. Cloud Municipal Band playing at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks at 10 p.m. on the fourth at Hester Park.
