A 24-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested for allegedly threatening his ex-girlfriend. It happened at about 11:00 Thursday night on the 300 block of Laudenback Court in St. Cloud. Police say John Patrick Kleckner was on the phone with his ex-girlfriend, a 24-year-old St. Cloud woman, telling her if she didn’t get back together with him he was going to hurt her and himself. Police say Kleckner told his ex-girlfriend he had a gun and was on his way to her home. He also said, allegedly, that he would shoot any cop that would try to get in his way. Police eventually arrested Kleckner on the 2900 block of Maine Prairie Road and taken into custody without incident. Kleckner was first taken to the hospital for his sucicidal comments and then taken to jail where he is being held for charges of terroristic threats and domestic assault.
