St. Cloud Police were called just before 11 p.m. Monday to the 10th block of 6th Avenue North where a man had been assaulted. 

Police were told 26-year-old Darren Frazier allegedly struck a 53-year-old man multiple times in the head with a wooden dowel in the man’s apartment. The victim was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Frazier was arrested in the downtown area and is being held in the Stearns County Jail on charges of 2nd and 3rd degree assault.
