St. Cloud police have identified the man who died in an early morning shooting last Saturday.

The victim is La’Darian D’Vonte Broadnax of St. Cloud. There have been no arrests in this case at this time.

The 24-year-old died after a shooting in 300 block of the alley between 4th and 5th Avenues South. Commander Brett Mushatt says authorities were called just after 3:30 a.m. of a report of a person with a gun.

As officers were en route they learned a person had been shot in a vehicle in an alley. Broadnax was found in the driver’s seat. He died at the St. Cloud Hospital after officers tried life saving measures.

Police learned there was a party in a nearby apartment and an altercation started outside the apartment. No suspects have been arrested at this time and authorities are asking for any information in this case.
