A 29-year-old man from St. Cloud is facing domestic assault charges in Stearns County. Waite Park police were called to a home on 7th Street South Wednesday morning. Police officers determined a 28-year-old woman had been allegedly assaulted on two previous occasions. The most recent was the victim reported being strangled on September 29.

Earl Thomas is being held on charges of felony domestic strangulation and terroristic threats and 5th degree assault.
