A St. Cloud man is facing felony domestic assault charges after a new assault was reported this week. Police recently released information on the incident that happened on Tuesday, January 3.

Police were called to a home in the 1100 block of 13th Street South with a report of a domestic assault in progress just after 10:30 p.m. They arrested 40-year-old Troy Jeremy Chevalier. Police say his 30-year-old girlfriend had minor injuries from the assault and he resisted arrest.

Chevalier is in the Stearns County Jail being held for court. He has previous convictions so he is facing felony domestic assault as well as obstructing the legal process charges.
