A St. Cloud man is in jail after police say he threatened another man with a gun on the city’s east side. It happened at around 3:00 pm Monday on the 1200 block of St. Germain Street. Police say a 33-year-old St. Cloud man was approached by two men outside of his apartment building. That’s when police say one of the men pulled out a gun, cocked it, and threatened the victim. Police say the victim was able to get away and lock himself inside his apartment. When officers arrived, they arrested the suspect, 29-year-old Aaron Dante Moreno of St. Cloud. He was taken to the Benton County Jail where he faces charges of assault and possession of a gun. When authorities found the gun used during the assault, they say it was loaded. Police anticipate additional arrests in this case.
