A 28-year-old St. Cloud man is in jail after police say he physically assaulted a 20-year-old woman. Police say it happened just after 11:00 Tuesday morning at a home on the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southeast, on St. Cloud’s northeast side. Police say Carl Jo Sanders entered the woman’s home without permission and physically assaulted her. The victim has an order for protection against Sanders, who was arrested for assault, violating a protection order, burglary, and possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken to the Benton County Jail where he is being held for court.
