On Tuesday the St. Cloud Police Department held a special traffic enforcement targeting drivers that were failing to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. Twenty-six drivers were issued citations and ten were issued warnings for drivers that were failing to yield to the pedestrians that were in the crosswalk. Additional citations were issued for driving after revocation, no insurance, and no proof of insurance. The St. Cloud Police Department is reminding drivers to yield to pedestrians that are in their lane while in the crosswalk and for pedestrians to use caution while crossing the roadways.
