The City of St. Cloud was given an award for their civic and community interactions by the United States Department of Justice.

The St. Cloud Police department Community Outpost was given the Justice L. Anthony Sutin Civic Imagination Award for their work engaging the community and helping forge positive and strong relationships within the City of St. Cloud.

The Community Outpost opened in August of 2017, and has been a hub for community activity, involving all community members, to provide safety, and many other life enhancing programs for the community.

The City will be hosting an event at the Community Outpost, located at 600 13^th Street South, on Thursday at 9 a.m. to showcase the award.
