One St. Cloud State fisherman will be competing next week in the College Fishing National Championship.

Chizta Xiong will be competing solo against over 150 other teams competing in the event.

The tournament will be held June 4-6^th in Marbury Maryland. The anglers will take off each day at 7 a.m. and will report back at 3 p.m. for weigh-ins.

This is Xiong’s first time making it to the College Fishing National Championships.
