Archived: St. Cloud Woman Runs Stop Sign, Hits Bus
St. Cloud police and fire departments and Gold Cross Ambulance were called to West St. Germain Street and 15th Avenue North just before 7 p.m. Sunday for an accident with injuries.
According to the report, a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Luella Mable Carleton of St. Cloud ran a stop sign and hit the side of a Metro Bus carrying five people including the driver.
The bus received minimal damage and no one was injured. Gold Cross transported Carleton to the St. Cloud hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and she was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
