A St. Joseph man is hurt after getting hit by a car Saturday evening on St. Cloud’s east side. It happened just after 5:00 pm at the intersection of 14th Avenue Southeast and Division Street. Police say a 52-year-old St. Cloud man was driving his pickup truck when he hit a pedestrian, 33-year-old Matthew Neil Williams of St. Joseph. Police say Williams was walking around a semi truck that was parked along the side of the road. Police say the pickup wasn’t moving very fast when Williams was hit. Williams was taken to the hospital with a large bump and laceration on his forehead. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening. No criminal charges are being filed at this time.
