January is Stalking Awareness Month and an event is being held tonight on the campus of St. Cloud State to educate the public on the issue. The event titled “Stalking: Know it. Name it. Stop it.” will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. tonight in the Granite Room of the Atwood Memorial Center.

Attendees will hear personal survivor stories, learn examples of stalking, find out how stalking impacts survivors, learn how to detect stalking and protect yourself and learn ways technology can be used for safety.
