A bomb threat was called into the Stearns County Administration Center’s main telephone line last Thursday at approximately 2:45 pm. The caller said that there was a bomb at the Stearns County Complex in downtown St. Cloud. After a complete search of the area, nothing suspicious had been found. Stearns County Sheriff’s Investigators then conducted an investigation of the incident, finding the suspect to be 25-year-old Nhat Mihn Hoang Tran of St. Cloud. Tran admitted to making the call, and that he had hoped to have his female friends’ court appearance cancelled. Earlier Wednesday a complaint was filed, charging Tran with terroristic threats. A court date has not yet been set according to Stearns County Sheriff John L. Sanner.
