Archived: Stearns County Officials Receive Raises
Some Stearns County elected officials will be getting raises in 2011. The salaries were established earlier this week at the county board meeting. Officials to receive raises include the county attorney, chief deputy attorney, sheriff, chief deputy sheriff, county auditor, and recorder.
Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall’s salary will increase by more than $10,000 annually, from $133,000 in 2010 to $143,627 in 2011. Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner’s salary is increasing from $116,000 in 2010 to $129,666 in 2011. Randy Schreifels, the county auditor, will receive a $6,000 raise, from $114,000 in 2010 to $120,480 in 2011.
In addition, the County Board of Commissioners voted to keep their pay frozen for 2011, at an annual salary of $35,500.
