The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of day-time burglaries.

There have been 48 burglaries reported since last January many of which happened in the past few weeks. They have occurred in St. Augusta and Rockville as well as several townships.

 The Sheriff’s Office is looking for people who may have had their doorbells rung during the day by strangers who leave when the door is opened.
