A number of funnel clouds were spotted throughout central Minnesota during Thursday evening’s storm. St. Cloud State Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman says funnel clouds were reported in Sartell, Foley, Paynesville, Becker and Meire Grove. While there are no confirmed reports of tornado touchdowns in our listening area, one was reported in Louisburg, in far west central Minnesota. In St. Cloud the storm produced 1.65 inches of rain with wind gusts up to 48 miles per hour.
