Archived: Students to Celebrate Nepalese Culture
The Nepalese Student Association will be hosting Nepal night this weekend. The celebration is titled Prayatna or “An Effort” will take place Saturday at 5 p.m. in Ritsche Auditorium.
The event will include traditional dances, songs and cultural entertainment from Nepal. Dinner featuring traditional dishes will be served in the Atwood Ballroom following the performance. The student group is looking to share Nepalese culture with the University and the community. Event organizers are expecting 1,000 people to attend this year’s celebration.
Tickets for the event are $6 for St. Cloud State students with valid ID and $10 for faculty, staff and community members. Tickets are available at Atwood Memorial Center but are limited.
