Women’s basketball player Talisha Barlow and wrestler John Sundgren were named the 2010-11 SCSU athletes of the year. 

Talisha Barlow was a four-year starter as a guard on the basketball team. She competed in 112 games in her career, and is tenth on the Huskies all-time scoring list with 1,520 points. Barlow, of Little Canada, was just the sixteenth player in school history to score 1,000 points and gather 500 rebounds in a career. 

John Sundgren was a two time All-American during his SCSU career and won a national championship in 2010 for the Huskies. He finished his career with a 92-32 record.
