St. Cloud Police have arrested a suspect in an assault that occurred yesterday afternoon.

The St. Cloud Police Department says they arrested 62-year-old Theotis Jackson of St. Cloud at a residence in the 10 block of 14^th Avenue North St. Cloud.

Jackson allegedly fought another man outside of the St. Cloud Public Library and cut his neck open with a knife and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious and potentially life threatening injuries. He currently remains in the St. Cloud Hospital and is in stable condition.
