St. Cloud police responded to a burglary and assault in progress call just before 6 p.m. Monday on the 1400 block of 12th Avenue North.

According to the report, the victim told police that two people she knew had entered the apartment by removing a screen from the window and climbing through. Once inside, the suspects assaulted her and took clothing and miscellaneous items.

One suspect, a St. Cloud girl was found at her home and arrested and charged with felony 1st degree burglary, 5th degree assault and theft. The second suspect, also a St. Cloud girl was found trying to sell the clothes she had just stolen to an area consignment shop arrested and charged with felony 1st degree burglary.
