St. Cloud Police have identified the two suspects arrested in connection with a shooting of a woman on the city’s Southside Wednesday morning.

Police took 27-year-old Jerome Demond Jones and 26-year-old JB Daniel Zimmer into custody. In the police report they authorities say they learned Jones legally changed his name to Poog Dableed Devildrugchristlord. He was arrested for the shooting charges and Zimmer was arrested for aiding an offender. Both are being held in the Stearns County Jail.

A 42-year-old woman was shot several times near the 1000 block of 15^th Avenue South. The victim survived and was being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries at the St. Cloud Hospital. The suspects were later taken into custody about an hour later near Becker.

Authorities believe that this was not a random accident and that the suspect and victim know each other.
