The Anoka County Sheriff’s office says a teenager died after being struck by a Metro Transit commuter in Coon Rapids. 

The crash was reported around 6:45pm on Friday. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The teens age, gender and hometown have not yet been released. No passengers on the train were injured in the crash.
