St. Cloud Police were sent to two separate businesses for attempted thefts of vehicles on Monday.

The two businesses were located in the 300 Block of Franklin Avenue Northeast and in both cases the suspects are unknown.  The suspects gained entry into the business’ vehicle that was parked in their own lot.

Both vehicles were damaged in both cases as authorities believe the suspects were trying to steal the vehicle.  The suspects were unsuccessful as the vehicles were not able to be started.

Officers in the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Units are actively investigating the cases and police have increased patrols in the area.
